Nursing agency, individual nurses, medical malpractice & liability

The Agency policy provides coverage to the entity itself and employees of the agency. Contracted staff can also be covered under this policy when working for the Nursing Agency.

Whilst midwifery is excluded from the standard cover, this policy can be extended to include these activities for an agency, subject to an additional premium. Plus, a limited “write-back” extension can provide cover for midwifery activities other than the actual birth itself.

Some benefits applying to this policy include:

• Continuous cover clause
• Inquiry costs $200,000
• Vicarious Liability for the acts of subcontractors and consultants

A Good Samaritan’s clause has also been included for rendering or failing to administer emergency first aid or assistance in public.

7 years Run-Off cover is also available for both Agencies and Individuals, for one year’s premium.
